What is Freeflow
Every node is simultaneously a server and a client. Traffic flows through a decentralised relay mesh using dual transport: TCP+Reality TLS (privacy-first) and QUIC over UDP:443 — the same port as HTTPS — making it nearly indistinguishable from normal web traffic. VLESS + Reality wrapping adds an additional layer of privacy. Gateway hopping ensures no single relay knows the full path. DHT-only heartbeats replace on-chain transactions for zero-fee liveness.
Architecture
Each layer operates independently. Compromise one — the others hold.
Dual-stack transport with auto-fallback. TCP+Reality TLS is privacy-first; QUIC provides maximum throughput — up to 800 MB/s on Linux with GSO. Same port as HTTPS.
Traffic is wrapped in VLESS headers with Reality-based SNI wrapping. To observers, it looks like a normal connection — no identifiable signature.
160 k-buckets with K=20 and ALPHA=3. Per-tier encryption across 5 levels using ECDH key distribution. DHT-only heartbeats (TTL 180s, republish 120s) replace on-chain transactions — zero fee.
HMAC-SHA256 deterministic relay chains. Each hop is verified via Merkle proofs. No single relay knows the source or the destination — only the next hop.
DHT-based file seeding and chunked storage. Publishers distribute content through the seeder network with compression, DHT announcements, and storage proofs.
TTL 180s with automatic republish at 120s — no chain transactions required. Per-tier encrypted announcements keep peer discovery cheap and fast. Country filter + performance tiers for geo-gating.

Get Started
cargo build --release -p freeflow-relay then freeflow-relay init. Creates your config and relay key automatically. Set your tier, country, and pre-beta invite code in freeflow.toml.
Launch Foundation Server, Solana Sidecar, and your relay. The DHT discovers peers, the swarm forms, and traffic starts flowing through your node. Dashboard at http://localhost:8080.
Route traffic, maintain uptime, and watch your reputation climb. Higher tiers unlock better reward multipliers and cashback. All verified on-chain via Solana devnet programs.
